This policy explains how Big Payrolls Solution Private Limited ("we") handles personal data in connection with Big AutoGrid. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

What we collect

Account data of our business customers and their staff: names, login emails, phone numbers, roles.
Workshop data that our customers enter: their customers' names and phone numbers, vehicle details, job cards, invoices and payments.
Usage data: login times, device and browser information, and logs needed to keep the Service secure.

Our role

For workshop data, our business customer decides what is collected and why, and we process it on their behalf. For account and usage data, we decide how it is used, as described here.

How we use data

To provide, secure and support the Service.
To send service messages, such as one-time passwords and job updates that our customers choose to send.
To bill for the Service.
To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use workshop data for advertising.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in India, in data centres in the Mumbai region. We use reputable providers for hosting, SMS delivery and payments, who process data only to provide their service to us.

Payments

Card and UPI payments are handled by our payment partners. We do not store card numbers or UPI PINs.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, each outlet's data is kept separate, and important actions are logged.

Retention

We keep data while the account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. When an account ends, data is deleted or anonymised after the export period, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If your data was entered by a workshop, please contact that workshop first; we will help them respond.
